Idaho Springs was the birthplace of the Rocky Mountain Gold Rush. The town has preserved much of the mining history and is now a popular tourist attraction. With world renown rafting, unique hot springs, and the best barbecue around, Idaho Springs is a must-stop for the adventurer at heart. Main Street Idaho Springs has preserved much of its original charm with dozens of local boutiques and family owned restaurants. The town is located approximately 30 miles west of Denver just off I-70 and 45 minutes from Summit County on a clear day. Another fun fact about the town is it is home to the highest paved road in North America, leading to the top of Mount Evans, one of many of Colorado’s 14ners.

- Indian Springs Resort & Campground
With a total of 57 campsites, Indian Springs is located directly next to the hot mineral springs and one-of-a-kind men’s and women’s geothermal cave baths. The family friendly campground is $10 per person. The campground is situated on 2,100 acres of peaceful, beautiful land.
- Chief Hosa Campground
This campground is located just outside of Idaho Springs in Golden, Colorado. Chief Hosa has 61 campsites and 5 full hookup sites for RVs and trailers. The campground is typically open May 1st though the third weekend of September. The campground also includes a volleyball pit, tetherball, and basketball court for fun family activities.
