5 Tips for a Great Zipline Photo

Kids Ziplining in Colorado

Our ziplining adventure is an exhilarating and unique experience so it is only natural you would want a record of it.  We have photographers that will be taking photos of you during your zipline tour.  Below are tips to make sure you get the most out of your photos for your Hall of Fame, not ones that end up in your Hall of Shame.

1) Be sure to face the camera

You will be able to (and we encourage you) take a couple of spins during our zipline course.  However, you want to make sure you are facing forward when you pass our photographers or you will end up with a picture of your backside.  Then, who will believe it was you?

2) Keep your legs closed

I do not feel the need to go into detail about this tip but keep in mind you are in a harness. The best way to avoid this unflattering angle is to cross your ankles.

3) Stay in control

The more in control you are, the more likely you are to be in control of your body and your facial expressions.  You do not want pictures of you looking panicked or have just caught a smell of something foul..

4) Strike a pose024 (2)

Whether it is giving a thumbs up or waving, adding a little more personality will give you a better photo.  As you get more comfortable on the course, you can ask your guide different poses they recommend for a top photo. They will have plenty of ideas to choose from.

5) Smile!

Smile.  You do not want to look like you are miserable or not having a good time. Showing people a photo of you with a frown is not going to make them envious of your amazing experience.

By putting these tips to use, you are guaranteed to allow our photographers to capture some amazing photos of you. Zip on!
