The 3 Dos and Don’ts of Ziplining

Kid Zipline Colorado

If you are thinking of coming on one of our amazing zip trips either at our Idaho Springs location or Granite location there are some dos and don’ts.  Knowing the things not to do before your trip will be in your best interest.  Our zipline courses last about 2.5  to 3 hours. From post to post you will be soaring through the mountains and over the trees. Whether you go with friends, family, or co-workers, here are some dos and don’ts of ziplining.

When ziplining one huge mistake people make is the footwear they choose. When going zipping you want to be sure you have proper footwear. _DSC0082The do’s would be hiking boots, sneaker etc. The don’ts would be flip flops, Crocs, tap shoes, cleats etc. If you are debating what clothes to wear, don’t fret, just wear comfortable outerwear. Shorts, jeans, spandex and any type of tighter fitting clothes will work. Don’t wear overly baggy or loose clothing, leave the cape at home batman.

Listening to your guide on your zipline trip is very important. Our guides here at AVA are trained to run the courses and the special elements we incorporate. They will always have your best interests at heart. They will be using hand signals to communicate, so do pay attention.

When you choose the right footwear, clothing, and listen to your guide, your zipline experience is sure to be unforgettable.
