Memorial Day Weekend Trips

Now that winter is full behind us and the spring runoff is coming in stronger and stronger, Memorial Day is the perfect opportunity to enjoy some of Colorado’s natural beauty by getting outside. During spring run off the rivers in Colorado are overburdened with the highest water flows they will have until the following spring. This in turn makes Memorial Day weekend the best time of the year to get together with family and head down the river.  

For those with the afternoon cookout plans don’t fret as there are trip options for you, our Browns Canyon half day trip will depart at 8:30 am and have you back to your car ready to go by 12:30pm. If the full weekend experience is what you crave check out our three day Upper Colorado Scenic Float for a nice mild and relaxing weekend soaking up the sun and enjoying some of the best views in Colorado. If water is not your thing there are several other trip options for your group such as our Cliffside Zipline, horseback riding, off road tours and fly fishing.  For those down in the Denver area join us in Idaho Springs, CO (45 minutes west of Denver) for some of the best whitewater in Colorado. We will also have options for those who want to head out on their own excursion through Colorado River Rentals as they will offer a full service rental shop as well as shuttle options for the Upper Colorado.
