Why Drive the Mount Evans Scenic Byway Now?

The byway is actually only open for the summertime each year due to the state not maintaining the road throughout the winter.  You probably won’t catch fall foliage on the road quite yet, but you’ll get to thoroughly enjoy this mountaintop adventure and be one of the last ones to do so for the year.

What Other Outdoor Activities are in the Area?

Wanting a thrilling excursion while you’re in Idaho Springs?  AVA’s outpost is at the base of the Mount Evans Scenic Byway and is equipped with a Cliffside Zipline course and Via Ferrata mountaineering activity.  Call today for the best deals on adventures this fall and get up the scenic byway before it closes after Labor Day weekend!
