Make Your Career An Adventure

Looking for an exciting summer with one of Colorado’s outdoor industry jobs? Do you love being outside and active? AVA offers a wide variety of job opportunities each summer in Colorado. We are always looking for people who are energetic, enjoy being outdoors, and are hard-working team players to have an awesome summer of fun working as river guides and support staff. If you are not a person who takes pride in your job and wants to do something you are passionate about, we’re not the company for you. Our season generally runs from May until September, and we staff for that time. A few year-round positions are open, as well.

Why Work at AVA

The Atmosphere

One thing we hear over and over from our staff is how much they love the AVA family.

Each outpost celebrates a mutual love of the great outdoors and are always willing to work together to ensure every outpost is ready to continue pursuing our collective passion of providing guests with unforgettable Colorado adventures.

Making Memories

Whether you join us for a summer or a lifetime, you will make lasting memories as a part of the AVA team.

It may be a cliche, but for us it’s the truth: we work hard, but we play harder. This often comes to life in the form of outpost trips to Red Rocks, volleyball competitions, cookouts, pool parties, raft races and more! You will make memories and friendships that will last a lifetime with AVA!
