The Highlights Of Your Trip
The quarter-mile stretch of river located in Dowd Junction is the most aggressive part of the river as the banks of the Eagle River constrict, forming a narrow chute that you will blast through culminating in Dowd Chute Rapid, the largest drop on the entire Eagle River. You’ll have little time to celebrate after conquering this legendary rapid – a string of thrilling Class III rapids follows quickly behind providing a non-stop rollercoaster ride. Because the Eagle River is not dam-controlled, water levels fluctuate with the weather, which means each time you run this trip, you will have a different experience.
