Wondering why it’s called “Wyldride”? You’ll take on Colorado’s rapids in a mini, 9-foot raft with just one other person and your guide! Start your day climbing around the Granite Gorge and learning the basics or expanding your skills. Your guides can point you in the right direction of more advanced climbs if you’ve spent more time than others on the rock face.
We’ll cook up a hot fajita lunch back at our outpost midday before gearing up for some rapids on the Arkansas River.
Just you, a friend, and your experienced guide will hop in a nine-foot raft, called a “lemon”, to battle the rapids on the Class IV Numbers section of the river. This is the perfect challenge for those who are wanting to step up their game in the world of whitewater!
At AVA Rafting & Zipline, we believe you should know what you’re buying and how much you’re going to spend. We believe in added value to make your experience special. We don’t want you to feel “nickel and dimed” when you show up for your trip with us. That’s why we provide wetsuits and splash jackets free of charge on your Numbers Half Day trip. You’ll pay over $20 per person with some other outfitters. Your rock climbing tour also includes everything you need. We try our best to prepare you with gear lists and suggested things to bring so that you don’t end up paying for unneeded add-ons.
