Ullr Fest is an annual event in Breckenridge that serves as a celebration in honor of the Norse god of snow Ullr. The 2016 event takes place January 13-16 and will be the 53rd celebration! Get ready to see the town of Breck decked out in Viking hats, participating in the Ullympics and the Ullr parade. You can also join in on a bonfire of skis and snowboards offered up to Ullr and the longest ski shot in the world!
- BBQ Challenge – Frisco
2016 will be the 23rd year of the Colorado BBQ Challenge in Frisco. Start your weekend off right with a kickoff concert on Thursday, June 16, 2016, then get a good night’s rest for Friday and Saturday’s BBQ! The Challenge will take place on Friday, June 17 from 11am – 9pm and Saturday, June 18 from 10am – 6pm. Enjoy the BBQ creations of around 70 master BBQers as they compete for a variety of awards.
Each year, Dew Tour makes a stop in Breckenridge in December for a little competition from some of the world’s best athletes. The 2015 event will be in Breckenridge December 10-13. You won’t want to miss out on Main Street’s rail jam, the big air competition, the superpipe, slopestyle, streetstyle and the concert which has featured past artists such as Macklemore, Fitz and the Tantrums and The Chainsmokers.

The Breckenridge Oktoberfest is one of Colorado’s largest Oktoberfest events and the largest Oktoberfest street party in the Rocky Mountains. The 22nd annual event will take place on September 9 – 11 in 2016. Hit Main Street for this German inspired fest filled with German cuisine, beer, dancing, and more.
