AS ALWAYS, SAFETY FIRST

We believe in safety above all else, holding our guides to the highest standards of excellence. We require guides to undergo extensive training that goes beyond industry standards, including belay and rappel training, CPR and First-aid certification, and emergency response preparedness. We also ensure that our guides are proficient in all safety equipment, utilizing only previously inspected and tested harnesses, lanyards, and carabiners. Before beginning your AVA zipline course, your guide will give you detailed instructions, assist with your gear, and answer any questions you may have about the experience. On an AVA Zipline adventure, our guides will make you feel confident on the course, and you’ll be swinging through the trees worry free!

YOUR ZIPLINE TRIP WITH AVA

Embark on an adrenaline-fueled journey above the treetops on either our mountaintop or our cliffside zipline course. Our ziplines are expertly integrated into the natural surroundings, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in some of Colorado's most awe-inspiring landscapes. To access our ziplines, a truck will transport you to the top of the trail, and you'll trek short distances between each line. We provide all the essential gear for your adventure, including a sturdy seat/chest harness, a high-quality trolley system, two reliable lanyards with secure clips, gloves, and a helmet. Our equipment is specially designed for ziplining and is akin to that used for rock climbing.

Our "Zip Truck" will take you through the historic town of Idaho Springs before reaching the start of the course. Our 6 ziplines offer a variety of big drops, scenic zigzags, a dual race line, jungle bridge, and a log cross. Fly down the mountain cliffs and soak in the scenic beauty of Colorado's outdoors. MOUNTAINTOP ZIPLINE

Experience the thrill of ziplining in the stunning scenery of Buena Vista on our Mountaintop Zipline. This course boasts six exhilarating ziplines, including a 900-foot dual race line, a swinging log bridge, and a hanging log staircase. Soar over 3,500 feet of cable and marvel at the majestic Collegiate Peaks mountain range and the Arkansas River. Just an hour away from Breckenridge, Vail, and Aspen, our Buena Vista outpost offers an unforgettable ziplining adventure in the heart of Colorado's natural beauty.

MOUNTAIN-TOP PACKING LIST

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities on all Zipline trips. Please note that our trips are subject to cancellation in extreme weather conditions, such as high winds or lightning, as weather in Colorado can be unpredictable. For this reason, we recommend dressing in layers and bringing a raincoat for any unexpected afternoon storms. You may bring a small backpack to carry water and extra layers To ensure your safety during the climb, we require all participants to wear closed-toed and secure shoes. Comfortable clothing is recommended and we advise against wearing loose items such as scarves, long necklaces, skirts, short shorts, and jean shorts, and for safety reasons, we require participants to tie back long hair.

OUR WATCHES ARE SET TO ADVENTURE

To ensure a seamless and stress-free start to your zipline adventure with us, we kindly request that you arrive at our outpost 15 minutes prior to your scheduled trip. In the event that you are running late, please give us a call and we'll do our best to accommodate you on the next available trip. If that's not possible, we'll issue you an 85% credit that you can use during the current season. Upon arrival, our welcoming staff will check you in and introduce you to your guide, who will provide you with all the details about your adventure. Before your arrival, please remember to sign your liability waiver and double-check your confirmation for the correct location, date, and time.

TREE-TOP REQUIREMENTS

Our zipline tours are designed for individuals who are in good health and possess an average level of fitness. The hiking portion of the course is similar to climbing four flights of stairs. Please keep in mind that our zipline trips require a minimum weight of 50lbs and a maximum weight of 250lbs. Riders must be at least 6 years old to ride our Idaho Springs zipline and 7 years old for our Buena Vista course.

LEAVE NOTHING BUT MEMORIES

After completing your Zipline adventure, you'll return to our outpost with your guide, where you can return your equipment and purchase photos from your trip. We also have a range of apparel and souvenirs available for sale so that you can take a piece of your adventure home with you. If you enjoyed your trip with your guide, we encourage you to show your appreciation through gratuities.
