Even though the high country of Colorado is still getting pounded by snow, the Colorado rafting season is off to a great start! The Clear Creek through Idaho Springs is fully thawed and flowing!

Keeping with tradition, our first running trips of 2013 will be on the Clear Creek in Idaho Springs. We have trips for all difficulty levels on this section. Our beginner trip will fill your day with exciting Class II & Class III rapids. If this isn’t exciting enough for you we also have our Intermediate Clear Creek trips which will run you through some intense Class III & Class IV rapids. If you’re an adrenaline junkie then you’ll probably be interested in our Advanced Full Day rafting trip.

This trip on Clear Creek runs over 20 miles of advanced whitewater. You’ll start with a Class IV section not available on our other rafting trips, then blast through our Intermediate section of continuous Class III and IV rapids. Afterwards, you’ll head down the most challenging section of Clear Creek through Class IV and V rapids.

The water levels are promising to make these early season trips unforgettable. Have you booked yours yet?  Not to be overshadowed by Clear Creek’s opening, the Arkansas River will have all trips running starting on Sunday, May 5th. This includes the ever popular beginner trip down Brown’s Canyon, as well as more advanced options like The Numbers rafting trips, and the most advanced Class V in Pine Creek rafting.  AVA provides wetsuits and splash jackets free of charge.
