There were many highlights to the 2014 rafting season for us here at Colorado Zipline. The summer of 2014 will be known as the year of the zipline. We were able to add multiple features to our already daring and scenic zipline course for our guests to enjoy. A race zipline, 50 ft. free fall, and hanging bridges are just a few.
Though we had some highlights as a company, these pale in comparison to our guests experiences. Our number one goal every season is to provide our guests with the best possible outdoor experience. “I went with a group of six to celebrate my birthday, and we had an awesome time. A bit nerve wrecking to think we would be ziplining but when it came down to it, it was amazingly awesome. (Four hours each way from Crested Butte)… Best zip line guides in the world! We had been zip lining in the Dells and in Belize… so we have at least two countries to base this from! “Can’t say enough positive things about our experience zip lining and white water rafting. Our kids, son age 13, and daughter age 8 LOVED it!!! Our guides were Brandon and Travis (T2). They were AWESOME. I don’t like heights and wasn’t going to zipline. I had about an ounce of courage and “want to”. Brandon took that and ran with it, encouraging me and reassuring me that he had a back-up plan if we needed it!!! The views were amazing and I was glad I didn’t let fear win!!! Travis (T2) took our group on the raft and what FUN!!! He was so good with the kids!!! My daughter said, “I liked Brandon because he helped my Mom overcome her fear so she could zip line” and “I liked Travis (T2) because he was funny and let me steer the raft”.”

We had an AWESOME day thanks to AVA and your terrific guides! Our morning was zip lining…Brandon and T2 (Travis too) were our guides and they were both exceptional! Even though I have been zip lining 10 times prior to this trip, I was quite scared of your landings. They were both very patient with me, letting me choose where I was in the lineup of other guests, helping me, talking me through the rough spots and keeping me focused. They were great and I couldn’t have asked for better guides! They tried to keep the atmosphere light for the other guests and always were very professional! WOW, I can’t express how exciting, thrilling and just a plain blast our white water rafting was with our guide, Patrick! He has a way of just knowing he is in charge and will keep all of us safe…not once did I feel scared or thought I may end up in the water, Patrick had everything under control! He is calm, cool and in control and one can’t help but have a thrill of their life time! I am so glad we booked our adventure with AVA!
