On Your Fly-Fishing Adventure
Trip Overview
From AVA’s Kremmling outpost, you’ll explore the waters of the Upper Colorado River. Spend time with an experienced guide ready to help you hone your fly-fishing technique, as well as show you the best spots on the river. They’ll assess the water clarity, water levels, soil type, and time of year before deciding on the perfect spot to cast a line.
AVA is a Licensed River Outfitter – Issued by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under a special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
Trip Itinerary
- Meet at AVA’s Kremmling Outpost
- Get geared up, meet your guide, and head to the river
- Learn the basics of fly fishing
- Cast a line and test your luck on the Upper Colorado River!

Guests over the age of 16 will need to provide a valid Colorado Fishing License. Colorado Fishing Licenses can be purchased online with Colorado Parks & Wildlife, Take Me Fishing and/or at most outdoors stores.
