Now that the bitter bite of the Rocky Mountains cold winter is coming to an end, it’s time to start thinking about your summer vacation plans. For some this includes white sand beaches and mojitos in south Florida. For those looking to take in the vast landscapes of the Rocky Mountains or explore the endless waterways and curious wildlife, the high country towns of Colorado may be your ideal location. Ziplining is one of the best activities for high adrenaline adventure and also offer some of the best scenic vistas in the state.

20140412Idaho_Springs_Zip_-_004For those who may be skeptical of ziplining or do not know what ziplining is, ziplining is defined as an aerial rope slide in which you are harnessed to a pulley that propels you down the line. For those looking into ziplining for your first time this summer but are worried about not having previous experience, do not fret as you will have a guide coaching you through every step of the way. In addition to ziplining our courses will also offer additional aerial features such as a fifty foot freefall, via ferrata and suspended bridges. The guides will not only be coaching you during the tour, they will also set up all of your safety gear such as your harness and pulley configurations. While preparing for your trip make sure you have comfortable and appropriate clothing; this includes shorts or pants that are not baggy, a light jacket if desired and hair pulled back if it extends to your shoulders. You may also want to bring a water bottle that can be attached to your harness but will want to avoid bringing items such as cameras and other valuables you may be worried about losing.

Now that you have the “lowdown” on Colorado ziplining, do not miss your chance to reserve a spot for this summer. For more information of ziplining or to make reservations on one of our world class tours give us a call at (800) 370-0581. Enjoy the rest of your spring!
