Spring in Colorado
We still have a few good snow storms in our future for this season, but spring is definitely in the air. If you’re trying to escape the crowds at ski resorts across the state, you may be at a loss for activities to do. Spring blue bird ski days are quite incredible but the long lift lines and crowded slopes can get stressful. It’s too muddy to mountain bike, and there may even be too much snow to hike without proper snowshoes yet. What should you do then?

Starting tomorrow, March 2nd, AVA’s Cliffside Zipline and Colorado Via Ferrata start back up again! Head just 45 minutes east of Summit County or half an hour west of Denver to the historic town of Idaho Springs for some great outdoor adventures this weekend and every weekend to come.
AVA Cliffside Zipline
This 7-line zip course incorporates multiple suspended bridges, a Surf Zip, a dual race line to challenge your friends on, and an optional 50-foot free fall. You’ll catch incredible views of the Continental Divide as you soar among the treetops above Idaho Springs.

AVA Colorado Via Ferrata
This introduction to mountaineering will have you traversing the cliffside, rappelling down a 70-foot rock face, trying the thrilling 50-foot free fall, crossing a handful of suspended bridges, then concluding your tour by ziplining back down to the outpost. The Via Ferrata is a little longer, little more intense than the Cliffside Zipline, but incorporates everything we love on our zipline course and amplifies the adventure to a maximum level.
