You’ll get stunning views of the Gore Range mountains – a line of craggy, sharp peaks north of Summit County – so be sure to bring your waterproof camera to capture the majesty. It takes perfect conditions for the Blue River to run, so this is your chance to try out one of Colorado’s most beautiful rivers.
Trip Itinerary
- Check in at the Columbine landing recreation site north of Silverthorne, Colorado (This trip is operated under a permit on the White River National Forest).
- Meet up with your guide
- Paddle mellow yet exciting class III rapids
- Marvel at the area’s breathtaking scenery
- Finish your trip and return to your starting point
