Ziplining with Kids

Here is some important information on ziplining with kids, as well as some reasons why you and your children will LOVE the zipline tours we offer.

Idaho Springs Cliffside Zipline Tour – This is going to be one of the two locations Colorado Zipline offers zipline tours. Keep in mind that there are weight and age restrictions that you need to be aware of. In Idaho Springs you have to be at least 7 years old / 40 lbs. and cannot weigh more than 250 lbs. This course does consist of 6 different zip lines, a 50-foot bungee freefall, a surf zip, jungle bridges and a race zip that two of you can race at the same time. All of this takes about 2.5 – 3 hours zigzagging down the side of a mountain!

Granite Mountaintop Zip line Tour – The two courses we have are very different from each other, so make sure if you love to zip line to check them both out! Keep in mind that the age and weight restrictions are going to be 7 years old / 50 lbs and you cannot weigh more than 250 lbs. This tour will consist of 7 different ziplines with a 50-foot bungee free fall, a 1200 foot long zipline and awesome other features like a swinging log bridge and a hanging log staircase. It is almost 4,000 feet of high-flying, heart pumping fun!

Starlight Zipline Tour – This is a very unique trip that we offer at the Idaho Springs Outpost. It is a new experience we offer that includes glowsticks and headlamps. It is a great opportunity to experience the beauty of the Rocky Mountains under the stars and moonlight! You will not find yourself disappointed with all of the drops and zooming lines through the treetops.
